It’s officially October…and like everyone else, we’re pretty excited! Between spooky Halloween decorations, cooler weather and the Fall foliage, it’s hard to find a downside to this time of year. The Lester Glenn Auto Group 7th Annual Truck Show officially kicks off on Friday, October 5th at 9am in the Ocean County Mall parking lot! Every Fall, we bring our biggest and best pickup trucks and put them on display for our customers to browse in a relaxed, pressure free environment! There will be over 150 new and pre-owned trucks from a variety of manufacturers including Chevrolet, GMC, Ram and Ford in an accessible outdoor showroom! How It All Started
In March of 1956, over sixty years ago, Lester Glenn opened the doors to our very first dealership. What would become known as Lester Glenn Buick found its first home on Flint Road in South Toms River, New Jersey. With very limited space and quite a small sales team, our first showroom only had room for one car. Equally as tiny, the accompanying service department only had room for three! Here at Lester Glenn, we always try to be as festive and fun as we possibly can – you may notice that the balloons change every month and we’re pretty proud of that. This year though, we decided to take our holiday decorating to another level with our first annual Decorating Contest! Each of our showrooms were allotted extra money for the staff to spend as they wished on holiday decorations.
