The 2016 Hyundai Tucson has made its debut and it’s chock full of new and exciting attributes that we can’t wait to test out! With a brand new design and a whole new set of safety and technology features, the 2016 Tucson is sure to please.

The new Tucson is all about improved safety! It includes many new safety items like forward-collision warning with automatic braking and pedestrian detection, which can detect if a pedestrian or vehicle is in your path and will determine whether a collision is imminent. If so, the car will deploy brakes automatically in an attempt to prevent an accident. Blind-spot warnings, lane-departure warnings, rear cross-traffic alerts, and adaptive headlights are also part of the deal. ALL trim levels come standard with a backup camera, lessening the risk of any fender benders. Rear parking censors can also detect if you’re too close to an object behind you and will produce a beeping sound to warn you.

In addition to all of these amazing new safety attributes, the 2016 Tucson has a ton of new technology that we know you’re going to love. Just to start, heated seats are available in both the front and rear rows to keep you and your family warm on those cold winter nights. For the summer? Available ventilated front seats will do just the trick. The new, hands-free power liftgate is available for added convenience and it’s perfect in almost any situation. Loading groceries into your trunk just got a whole lot easier! More advanced technology has been added to the navigation system so it can now support Yelp, Pandora, and Apple Siri “Eyes Free”. Apple’s “Eyes Free” feature allows the driver to speak voice commands in order to operate your Apple device hands-free. It’s operated through the car’s steering wheel and enables you to make and receive calls, play music, send/receive text messages with your voice, access Maps and get directions, and much more. Some features of Hyundai’s Blue Link telematics can be controlled by an Android smartwatch for even more convenience.

On top of everything, the exterior has been redesigned for a more stylish and sleek appearance. While the older Tucsons were nice, the 2016 model brings the cleaner, more upscale look that Hyundai deserves. LED running lights, low-beam headlights, and tail lights are available, which takes the Tuscon to an entirely different level.
