“Stronger than the Storm” is a phrase New Jerseyans are very acquainted with, especially here in Ocean County. While it was almost five years ago that Superstorm Sandy made its way to our shores, it still feels like yesterday for many in our area. The news and images coming out of Texas are all too familiar for all of us at the Jersey Shore. Between the glaring weather forecasts and the ominous evacuation orders, the lead-up, duration and now aftermath of Hurricane Harvey resonates with our community in a way that nobody else could quite understand.
