The 2020 Hyundai Palisade Has Made its Official Debut!

Hyundai has been the talk of the town this week with the much anticipated debut of the brand’s first-ever full size SUV: the 2020 Hyundai Palisade. It was unveiled on November 28th at the Los Angeles Auto Show in California and it did not disappoint. With three rows of passenger seating and considerably more interior space than any Hyundai before it, the Palisade has a place for everyone.

By now, we’re all used to the Hyundai Santa Fe, which was Hyundai’s biggest vehicle available. The Palisade is three inches longer, has a wheelbase that’s four inches longer, and will offer much more room throughout. The Palisade will come with a 3.8-liter V-6 engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission and your choice of front- or all-wheel drive. With that, you’ll get 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, which is just the right increase from the Santa Fe.

The Palisade’s bold design is noticeable from the start, with a hexagonal and eye catching front grille and large taillights in the back. It demands a larger presence on the road and will certainly inspire those around you to stop and stare. The interior of the Palisade is expected to have many upgrades in terms of material quality and design – the top trim model boasted brushed-metal trim, soft leather and an advanced dashboard interface. While all the details are not yet released, the Palisade is expected to have huge variety of active-safety features standard on every trim line. The suspected MSRP begins in the mid-$30,000s and has the potential to range up to the $50,000s when the Palisade is fully loaded.

The 2020 Hyundai Palisade is expected to hit dealerships in the Summer of 2019 (it’ll come quickly, trust us!) and we should have more details as the release date gets closer. It’s an exciting time for Hyundai and we’re looking very forward to the newest addition to the SUV family!
