As part of the Subaru Loves Pets Month, Lester Glenn Subaru came together to support a local chapter of the Associated Humane Society. Our team worked together to encourage our customers to not only raise awareness around animal welfare, but also help us find homes for many of the adoptable pets in our community. We couldn’t be more proud to participate!

For the entire month of October, we hosted a pet supplies drive right in our showroom that allowed customers to drop off needed items, which we then donated to one of our partner shelters. We collected all sorts of things – from food and kitty litter to toys and cleaning supplies. It was a wonderful way to have our customers and employees alike get involved with such an important initiative and the enthusiasm was certainly felt by all! As part of our collection efforts, we also encouraged participants to take a picture of their pet in our Subaru Loves Pets photo frame and share it on their social media accounts to help us raise awareness. Any effort that was made was truly very appreciated and we’re so proud of everyone that helped us make it happen!

In addition to our month-long initiative, a few of our Lester Glenn Subaru employees, along with a local chapter of the Associated Humane Society, helped to organize our very own adoption event right here in our showroom! On Friday, October 27^th, adoptable dogs and cats were brought into our dealership for customers and employees to fall in love with…and eventually take home! You know they’re hard to resist! To further our efforts even more, Lester Glenn covered the adoption fees for any of our employees who decided to bring home their new forever friend. It was a wonderful turnout and we know all the pets will be so happy in their new homes.

As always, we’re so happy to support our local community and work together towards increased animal welfare and awareness. This is one small step to an even brighter future!
