The New York International Auto Show has been all anyone’s talking about for the last week…and for good reason! Each year is more exciting than the last and 2017 was no different. Between the Dodge Demon roaring across the stage to the unveiling of Genesis’ latest concept vehicle, there hasn’t been one dull moment at this year’s event. We did a quick roundup of the most exciting vehicles that made their debut this week – keep reading to find out more!
1.) 2018 Dodge Demon
Not all vehicles are created equally and the Dodge Demon certainly proved that when it was unveiled last week. Easily one of the most anticipated cars at this year’s auto show, the Demon captivated everyone with its unbelievable power and capability. With the most powerful V8 engine ever produced, the Demon boasts 804 hp and can go from 0-60 in 2.3 seconds. Yes, 2.3 seconds. It’s officially the fastest production car in the world and it’s one of those things you truly have to see to believe. It’s hard to be impressed by anything else after seeing the Dodge Demon in action.

2.) Genesis GV80 Concept Vehicle
With its growing presence in the luxury market, Genesis is making all the right moves to keep capturing people’s attention. They debuted their GV80 Concept SUV at the auto show last week and it certainly has us talking. This is one of two crossovers promised by 2020 and it’s expected to have fuel-cell power, which is part of the brand’s zero-emissions strategy. With that all being said, the GV80 is very sleekly designed with an eye catching exterior and a luxurious interior. Smart, efficient and a step above the rest, we’ll be anxiously waiting for production in 2018.
3.) 2018 Subaru Ascent
While the current Subaru lineup is pretty awesome as it is, it’ll be taken to the next level once the Ascent comes into play. The concept vehicle made its grand entrance at the New York International Auto Show and it’s a larger segment SUV with three rows, room for eight passengers and a ton of cargo space. It sticks with the traditional Subaru image but it offers more for those in need of a little bit extra. There are speculations that there could be hybrid vehicles available among the Ascent lineup but there has been no confirmation from Subaru. Either way, we are looking forward to getting back into the SUV game and we can’t wait to give it a drive!
4.) 2018 Hyundai Sonata
The Sonata has been with Hyundai for a long time so how much we love it is no secret. Each model year is always better than the last and we’re more excited than ever for 2018. Its debut at the auto show was not only very well done, but it made all of us want to drive home in a new one. The exterior has always been beautiful but the 2018 model takes it to the next level. Sleek, stylish and extremely inviting, the Sonata will always make your driving experience better than the rest.
5.) 2018 Buick Enclave Avenir
The Buick Enclave is a crucial part of Buick’s vehicle lineup and the Avenir model elevates it even further. All of the features that would be considered extra in the regular Enclave will come standard in the Avenir…plus more fun stuff on top of that. Things like a rear camera mirror, a three-dimensional mesh grille and an in-car air ionizer will all be available in the Avenir. Things you never knew you needed but once you have them, there’s no going back. It was very exciting to see this vehicle at the auto show and we certainly can’t wait to drive it.
