Five Things We’re Looking Forward to in 2017!

New Year’s Eve came and went and now we have a fresh start ahead of us in 2017! The new year always comes with the promise of new and exciting things and this one is no different. While there’s always something to look forward to in the car industry, the next few months have us especially excited. With so many new models and redesigns emerging, it’s hard to sit still. Since the list has the potential to be interminable, we narrowed it down to our top 5. Check it out!

2018 Chevrolet Traverse

1.) 2018 Chevrolet Traverse

Debuting on January 9th at the North American International Auto Show, the all-new 2018 Chevrolet Traverse is unlike any of its predecessors. With seating for up to 8 passengers and maximum cargo space, this model is perfect for couples and families alike. After its release, it’s expected to offer the segment’s best third-row legroom and maximum cargo space. The Traverse will complete Chevrolet’s transformation of its Crossover and SUV lineup and we can’t wait to see it!

2.) 2018 Jeep Wrangler

Between the expected Wrangler redesign and the all-new pickup truck variant, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is easily one of the most anticipated vehicles so far this year. Updates on the Wrangler’s exterior could possibly include a new front and rear with a more aerodynamic body and LED lighting. Some of the spy photos indicate that the idea of a fully removable top have been floating around. While there’s still a bit of time before we find out exactly what it looks like, we know it’ll be worth the wait.

2017 Ford GT

3.) 2017 Ford GT

It can be easily said that this car was designed and produced for a certain kind of driver. Priced at nearly $400,000, it’s not obtainable for most. On top of that, Ford approved only 500 people to purchase a GT this year – so we’ll just have to sit back and watch. Packed with 600 hp and a mid-engine twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6, the GT is stunning from start to finish. All you have to do is look at it.

4.) 2018 Subaru WRX

Not too much has changed for the WRX’s exterior – an enlarged lower grille, some extra black trim and turning LED headlights – bigger improvements come with the interior and within the WRX Performance Package. Inside you’ll find a larger screen on the infotainment system, a rear armrest with cupholders and improved interior materials. You can add to that available eight-way power adjustable Recaro seats. The WRX performance package comes chock full of exciting things. From bright red calipers and upgraded brake pads, nothing about the 2018 model will disappoint.

2017 Ram Rampage

5.) 2017 Ram Rampage

Made with the intention to replace the Dodge Dakota, the Ramp Rampage is full of top-of-the-line features and vast improvements. Two engine options will be offered: a 1.4-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine and a 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder engine. That’s 135 and 50 hp, respectively. Not too shabby. A new front grille, massive front bumper and rectangle-shaped LED fog lights on the sides of the bumper will give a rugged, yet modern appeal. We know this one will be a hit with truck lovers everywhere.
