Nothing gets us in the holiday spirit quite like helping out our community. As you may remember, October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Lester Glenn Auto Group got really involved…as we always do! We had a great time coming together to raise money for the American Cancer Society and this past week we had the opportunity to present our donation to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Point Pleasant. Lester Glenn owner and President Adam Kraushaar handed over a check for $8,520 and all the money will benefit breast cancer research.

To recap, back in October, we led several fundraising efforts both directly within our Chevrolet showroom as well as dealership-wide. For the entire month, Lester Glenn Auto Group donated $5 for every new “like” and “follow” we received on Facebook and Instagram. Our marketing department also designed specialty Lester Glenn Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts, which were available to all of our staff members for a $10 donation. All proceeds from the t-shirts went towards Making Strides. All of these efforts combined helped us to raise $8,520 and it’s a number we are truly very proud of.

All of the money we raised will go towards breast cancer research, education and critical patient services. The American Cancer Society has been helping those affected by cancer for years and 500 lives are saved every day because of donations. None of these life-saving efforts would be possible without the help and support of the community. We are deeply grateful for the contributions from our customers as well as our team members – without you, none of this would be possible. We can’t wait to do it all again in 2017!
