On most days, it’s about a 20 minute ride from most of our dealerships, which makes it a perfect next-stop after your visit to Lester Glenn! Seaside Heights has plenty of things to do – year round and during the summer months – so you’re sure to keep busy no matter what month we’re in. We invite you to check out this list of what we think are the top attractions in Seaside Heights!
1.) Boardwalk Casino Pier
This is where all the action happens in the busy summer months! Quick access to the beach, games, classic boardwalk food, rides, and so much more! If you’re headed to Seaside in the on-season, this must be your first stop.
2.) Amusement Arcades
Seaside Heights has six different arcades that you can visit – each with their own unique qualities. From Lucky Leo’s to the Shake Shoppe Arcade, you’re bound to find one that’s perfect for everyone in the family.
3.) Music Man’s Medley’s Singing Ice Cream Parlor
Ice cream and a show! What more could you want? Head here to experience Broadway-style Cabaret performances while munching on your favorite ice cream.
4.) Nightlife
Seaside is quite well known for their nightlife scene – from the infamous Bamboo Bar to something more casual like EJ’s Tavern – there’s truly something for everyone. Best part? Most of these hot spots are open year-round! Take your pick!
5.) Breakwater Beach Water Park
Nothing says summer fun quite like a water park. Children and adults alike will have a blast at this popular Seaside Heights destination. Sample every water slide before taking a break in the Lazy Crazy River. Have little ones with you? No problem! Head over to the Family Play Section for all kinds of awesome water works. This one is a must go!
6.) Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Nothing kicks off the warm Jersey days quite like the Seaside Heights St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Head to Seaside in March for this green celebration…and make sure to take plenty of pictures! People go all out for this one – from green body paint to seriously orange hair. Get there early for the parade and party into the night. You definitely don’t want to miss this one!
7.) Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Put this one on your calendar! It’s open and FREE to all kids up to the age of 10! With nearly 15,000 egg scattered throughout the beaches, your kids will have the chance to collect as many as possible! All kinds of prizes are available – free ride tickets, skeeball games and food, and the coveted golden eggs with seasonal beach passes in them. You and your family are guaranteed to love it!
8.) Dock Outfitters & Waterside Cafe
There’s nothing quite like enjoying good food with waves breaking in the background. You’ll get amazing views and delicious fare all wrapped into one. Throw in your favorite company and you’ll be set for a beautiful afternoon.
9.) Movies on the Beach
Grab your most comfortable beach chair and your favorite blanket and head to the beach for a movie night! Jaws is a regular screening – for obvious reasons – and trust us, it never gets old. There are more kid-friendly films sprinkled in throughout the summer so make sure you check the website for updates! It’s the best way to wind down during the perfect Jersey summer nights.
