The 2016 Buick Envision Is on Its Way!

The “Midsize Crossover” has been a crucial facet to many brands’ lineups and Buick has decided to join the club with their new 2016 Buick Envision. It falls right in the middle of the tiny Encore and the bigger 3-row Enclave. Between the impressive engine, the awesome line of standard equipment, and the very sleek interior/exterior, the Envision is something everyone is looking forward to.

The exterior is very much pleasing to the eye with a rounded arch over the front wheels and a rising body-side crease that runs through the door handles. There’s also eye-brow style LED daytime running lamps, LED taillamps, and standard 19-inch wheels. Hood mounted vents and a water grille also make an appearance, in typical Buick fashion. It will certainly make its presence known on the road.

We can definitively say that the Envision’s luxurious interior will have you never wanting to leave. Heated seats and a heated steering wheel will come standard, as will a Bose sound system. What more do you need? We’ll tell you. A hands-free power liftgate, push-button start, three-zone climate control, and lane-keeping assist are all standard. A panoramic sunroof, cooled front seats, adaptive cruise control, 2016-Buick-Envision-121-876x535parking assist with a 360 degree camera, and OnStar with 4G LTE connectivity are all available.

The Envision will be powered by a 252-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, joined to a six-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel-drive system. Additional powertrain and drivetrain variants are expected to be introduced in future model years. We’ll be patiently waiting until then.

Other important information, like pricing and fuel economy, will be released as we get closer to the Envision’s midyear launch. In the meantime, you can make like the rest of us and start thinking about what color you want.
