8 Reasons We’re Excited for the Philadelphia Auto Show!

With the Philadelphia Auto Show only two weeks away, we can’t help but slightly obsess over all of the awesome cars that will be on display. From the 2016 Hyundai Equus to the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, it’ll certainly be amazing to have all of our favorites in one spot. As always, it’s pretty impossible to pick just one so in our usual fashion, we came up with a list. Keep in mind, there are multiple models for each brand that will be at the show. Come January 30th though, our heads will be spinning. In the meantime, read on for our 8 most anticipated cars at the Philly Auto Show!


1.) Subaru Impreza Sedan Concept The newly designed Impreza is a direct reflection of Subaru’s next-generation vehicles. Sportier, less angular, and much more energetic, the new Impreza design just illuminates with power. The Subaru features we’ve come to know and love will remain in tact; they will simply be enhanced. Change is good when it looks like this.

2.) 2017 Buick LaCrosse In addition to its dramatic new weight loss – 300 pounds to be precise – the all new LaCrosse is stronger than its ever been. Complete with more intuitive technology and an even sleeker design, it is surely paving the way for the brand’s bright future. The new features are endless and we know it will surely be worth the wait.

3.) 2017 Chrysler Pacifica The minivan…only cooler. The all-new Chrysler Pacifica is the most advanced minivan to date, boasting 115 innovations including the Uconnect Theater entertainment system and an 8.4 inc touchscreen. On top of that, the Pacifica has an award-winning Pentastar V-6 gasoline engine a TorqueFlite nine-speed automatic transmission. Style, technology, and of course, comfort, this new minivan is a force to be reckoned with.

4.) 2017 Ford F150 Raptor If off-roading is your thing, the all-new F150 Raptor SuperCrew is the truck you need. It was developed with the influence of a Baja race truck and is built with everything you need to take it to the next level. With a purpose-built engine, chassis, and suspension, the Raptor can travel smoother and faster over desert landscapes or rocky terrain. This model is 500 pounds lighter than its predecessor, improving its power-to-weight ratio. Its agility is stunning.

5.) 2016 Hyundai Equus With the continuation of the already superior design, the 2016 Equus has improved upon many essential safety features. It offers the Hyundai Blue Link safety, service, and infotainment system. Additionally, a blind spot detection system comes standard, decreasing the likelihood of an accident. The Ultimate model has turn-by-turn navigation instructions and smart cruise control indicators, among other things, for reduced driving distraction. Luxury comes standard with the Equus; everything else just adds to the beauty.

6.) 2017 GMC Acadia Aside from its whopping 700 pound weight loss, the new Acadia offers a more powerful and efficient 3.6L V-6 engine along with 4,000 pounds of estimated trailering capacity. An All Terrain model will also be available, which enhances off-roading capability for all those adventurers our there. The improved Acadia is sure to take you places you’ve never been.

7.) 2016 Chevrolet Volt Complete with greater efficiency, stronger acceleration, and a sportier design, the 2016 Volt will make you want to get up and go. The new propulsion system is expected to offer more than 400 miles of driving range with regular charging and more than 1,000 miles on average between gas fill-ups. This particular model also makes it easier for owners to be sure that their Volt is charging and it helps them gauge the status of their charge. The new system also has a lot of different features that comes equipped with various alerts to improve the driver’s charging experience. Add to that the 120V portable cord set and you’re ready to go.

8.) 2016 Mazda 6 Many improvements were made to the Mazda 6, both inside and out, and we can’t wait to give it a whirl. Major changes to the shape of the instrument panel and floor console creates a driver-oriented cockpit design and an awesome new look. The outside has a new front grille and new LED headlamps that will surely set it apart from others on the road. These improvements have led to a quieter and more comfortable riding experience; one we’re certainly eager to experience!
